North Carolina Film Critics Association Announces Nominees for Best of 2022

Everything Everywhere All at Once Leads with Record 17 Nominations

DECEMBER 22, 2022 - The North Carolina Film Critics Association is pleased to announce its nominations for the eleventh annual awards for achievements in film. Everything Everywhere All at Once, Top Gun: Maverick, and The Banshees of Inisherin lead with 34 combined nominations. Everything Everywhere All at Once garnered 17 individual nominations, a record previously held by Dune from last year with 13. 

The NCFCA consists of sixty-seven film critics living and/or working in North Carolina.

Winners will be announced on January 3, 2022. Recognition will be given to nominees in the following categories:
