Jacob is from Tennessee and moved to North Carolina from Kentucky in 2023 pursuing a master’s degree in film studies from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington which he received in 2025. Still residing in Wilmington, he writes and podcasts reviews and awards season coverage for InSession Film. When not watching films he loves rugby, winning a national championship in college and still plays for his local club Fear Rugby.
