Mattie Lucas is a freelance film critic whose work has appeared both in print and online. She served as the film critic for The Dispatch of Lexington from 2004-2020, and founded her website, From the Front Row, in 2006. She has also been a contributor at In Review Online since 2009. In addition to the NCFCA, Mattie is also a member of the Southeastern Film Critics Association, GALECA: The Society ofLGBTQ Entertainment Critics, and the Online Film Critics Society.
