Andrew Johnson is a teacher and writer. His writing has appeared in outlets such as Movie Mezzanine, Film School Rejects, The Porch, Post and Courier, Mountain XPress, and Winston-Salem Journal, among others. After graduating with a Masters in Arts Journalism from Syracuse University, he launched a podcast network called Film Geek Radio that developed programming on niche film-and-tv-themed topics. During this time, he also served on the first Executive Committee of the NCFCA and helped design the initial website. He now works as an English teacher in Rockingham County and supervises the school Film Club, working to pass on his knowledge and passion for film to a new generation.
