Edward Brown is an Army veteran turned movie critic. He grew up in Baltimore City and attended the Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Md. He went on to study English at Middlebury College in Vermont before joining the Army in 2005, concluding his military service in 2019. It was then he began the study of Professional Writing at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C. Brown’s film criticism career began in 2022 working with Ken Morefield’s 1More Film Blog. He has also been a contributing writer at The Invention of Dreams, and is the current owner and operator of Reel Deep Films.
