The Arty Chick, Jill Boniske’s film career began after a stint in film school when she moved into production and development, working on features ranging from the cult classic The Toxic Avenger to director Sidney Lumet’s Power. Her credits also include positions as a TV writer/producer for series in the US and China. She spent two months pre-pandemic in Hong Kong directing a documentary about an American filmmaker’s search for his birth mother there and hopes to be able to continue the search soon.
