Sean O'Connell is the deputy editor of Comics and Superheroes for CBR, and former managing director of CinemaBlend; both globally recognized and industry-respected entertainment news websites. He's also the author of the bestselling nonfiction books Release the Snyder Cut, With Great Power, an in-depth retelling of Spider-Man’s history in Hollywood, and; Bruce Willis: Celebrating The Cinematic Legacy Of An Unbreakable Hollywood Icon. Sean has been covering the film industry since 1999, and his byline has appeared in USA Today, the Washington Post, and Fandango, to name a few. He regularly appears on television and radio, and also hosts a popular weekly podcast, ReelBlend, that covers every aspect of the film industry. 

He is a longstanding member of the Critics Choice Association, and has served on the organization's Board of Directors.

O'Connell is an inaugural Member of the NCFCA.
