Lex Williams is a film critic based out of Charlotte, N.C. While she is an attorney by trade, her passion has always lied within the arts, having worked in theatrical marketing in New York City prior to law school. Williams got her start as a theatre critic for The Charlotte Observer when she was seventeen years old, where she had the opportunity to cover local theatrical productions as well as touring Broadway shows. Over the last year, Williams has served as a staff writer and critic for the Culture Cabinet, of which she is now a Podcast Editor. Outside of the legal and film space, Williams enjoys collecting records and taking walks with her dog, Dewey (named after her favorite film character from School of Rock).
